7:49 pm	Book seven down... So I will finish book seven tonight as I only have like 40 pages left and I haven't been able to put it down lately.  The seventh book is THE FIREBRAND by Marion Zimmer Bradley.  It was really hard for me to get into at first but I read a few chapters of Northanger Abbey and it was easier to read.  I think most of the problem was that I had read like 2 other books by her right before that dealing in the Avalon series and I couldn't seem to switch over to this one at all.  So once I finally got started I couldn't put it down.  Now I will switch gears again and read the last three books in the Avalon which includes Ancestor's of Avalon, Priestess of Avalon and Mists of Avalon.  All of which I hope are as good as the other two or three I have already read. Next book is going to be Ancestor's of Avalon as it is due back at the end of the week and well I really don't feel like renewing it.  So off I go to continue reading.  Later. 1:02 am	Book 6 down... So I finally finished THE VAMPIRE LESTAT by Anne Rice.  It only took me like five months because I read it between all the other books I read last year.  Well since I couldn't get into Firebrand like I could the Avalon series I picked up the book again and read it from front to back as I listened to it as well.  Maybe I just needed to listen to it as well in order to get through it more quickly.  Well I listened to the beginning and picked up the book and read along with the CD from where I left off in the book.  It is a very intriguing book and it explains a lot and all the books seem to connect pretty well.  Loved this book. So up next is Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen and I will listen to The Da Vinci Code.  I will keep you all updated. 12:39 pm	39 down 11 to go So like I assumed...I did finish Trickster's Queen late Saturday night. It had a great ending and I don't know that it could have happened any other way. Any other ending wouldn't have been at all as good as this one was. Sunday I started on Blue Bloods the Melissa de la Cruz book I recently bought and I couldn't put it down. I read until like 5 in the morning and had to put it down because I could no longer stay awake. I read a bit more yesterday but had to put it down and go to bed so that I could be up for bed this morning. I only have like twenty pages left so I should finish it on my lunch break and if not it won't take long to finish it at home. Tomorrow I will start reading Angela's Ashes again and hopefully it will be finished by the end of the week. We'll see. Some other books that are next on the list are...Son of a Witch and Mirror, Mirror both of which are written by Gregory Maguire. Son of a With is the sequel to Wicked. I have started both of them but was not able to finish them due to the slow nature in which they moved. I also have Lost also by Gregory Maguire and I hope it moves fast like Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister (which is my favorite Gregory Maguire book). So as of today I have a total of 39 books down and 11 to go. I should have plenty of reading time now that work is going so slow. We'll see what we can download to the computer here at work and read like I did the beginning of the year. So folks, I just got back from lunch and I did finish Blue Bloods. I totally can't wait to read the sequel Masquerade. I have heard a lot of good things about the sequel on this site. I will have to get on Amazon tonight and see about getting the newest PRIVATE book by Kate Brian, Masquerade and the fourth Au Pairs book by Melissa de la Cruz and possibly some more of Tamora Pierces books. From the sounds of it all of her books follow most of the same characters. Like her Lioness series follows the mother of the girl in the Trickster series. I am assuming one of the series also follows an aunt and one follows her grandmother. We will just have to wait and see but I want them all. There isn't really much else to say so I am off to complete my work for the day and maybe I will start one of the books I have on my computer here. Both are L.M. Montgomery I think I will work on Kilmeny of the Orchard. Anyways, now 39 down for sure and 11 (maybe more) to go. (Comment on this)

2:43 pm	10 out of 50 So yesterday I got on the Gutenburg Project online and downloaded a few books so I can read at work and not be online or look suspicious. Anyways, I love poetry especially Emily Dickinson, Robert Browning and Elizabeth Barrett Browning so I downloaded a lot of those. Yesterday however I read the complete collected works of Emily Dickinson online. I'm sitting there reading them and all the sudden I start crying reading some of them...it was kind of funny actually thinking about it now at least it is. When I got home I finished Interview With A Vampire by Anne Rice. I started it at the end of 2005 but could never find time to finish the last hundred or so pages but I finally buckled down and finished it last night. I loved the movie but I found myself getting a bit lost in the book. Confused about who was talking that is. I also have the Vampire Lestat and Queen of the Damned that I need to read as well but we will get to them. ( Books Read To Date ) I have also decided that I am going to finish all the books I have started before I move on to the next book.  So ( Here is the to be finished list... ) I have a goal to read 3 books a week so between work and home I should be doing really good in this goal.  Ok I think that is all for today update again soon.  Later Current Mood: cranky Current Music: Carry on My Wayward Son - Kansas (Comment on this)
